They say never to judge a book by its cover. But when it
comes to judging a bookcase, that rule need not apply. It’s all about how it
looks, and as any savvy decorator will tell you, adding bookshelf accessories
is the final touch that makes a room stand out or just stand empty. A few neat
ideas to spice up your own bookshelves would be to spray paint a bunch of
inexpensive flea market trinkets one color and sprinkle them about, add flower
vases, use pieces of wood or other natural items you’ve found on vacation, or
display beautiful bath gel bottles. The list goes on and on. You just have to
be creative!
