Thanksgiving Tablescapes

Thanksgiving may not be a French holiday (in fact, it’s the furthest thing from being a European celebration at all!), but that doesn't mean you can’t add a French flair to the traditional American festivities. One way to do this would be to serve foods that hail from the country, but if your family is a stickler for the annual usuals  another way to embrace your love of Europe’s sexiest little county is to just simply decorate your table with France in mind! Whether you use feathers, vintage photos and frames, Fleur-de-Lis adorned pieces, pears or even burlap napkins, your table is sure to be a stunning success.

Remote Romance

I'm all for chic Parisian apartments and the like, but I do live in a very remote area and enjoy the quiet of the country, meaning I have a heart on for farmland, too. In fact, it's always been a dream of mine to own a romantic farmhouse somewhere in the far away fields of France. For now, I'll settle on fun farmhouse decor. Here are a few looks that have brought me inspiration, as well as some accessories — this charming horse, and these cute pigs — that you can add to your home to help get a similar look!

Great Escape

April in Paris is a wonderful time, but it also draws crowds and crowds of tourists. So why not stretch your legs, go for a beautiful drive through the country side and stay at a gorgeous remote guest cottage like this one for the weekend? So pretty, so relaxing, and the experience is something altogether different from the hustle and bustle of lodging in the City of Lights.
