Ice Ice Baby

These cute little cubes are the perfect mix of winter and spring, and they're a great way to cure some of that spring fever that's hitting everybody! Just be sure to use edible flowers only, darlings. I don't want to be responsible for bringing on actual fevers!

Spring Forward

We know it's those April showers that bring May flowers, but can we help the fact that we're a tad bit impatient and want to get to the good part, like, now?! It's partially because these pink blooms are utterly fantastic. But it's mostly because we've been working hard at putting together our annual April In Paris event, and it's got us dreaming of all the spectacular spring splendor to be found in Europe's sexiest little country. So that means it's official: We've been hit with a serious case of spring fever!

Flower Power

Since my daughter moved to Hamburg, Germany, I’ve taken a little less time studying up on the shops and sights of Paris and spent a little more time doing the same thing for her German city. Don’t get me wrong: Paris will always and forever remain my true love — as well as the main attraction of this site! — but I have found that other places do have the occasional inspiring shop on the street, like this floral boutique/cafe called Himmel und Erde. Located on Hofweg in Hamburg, it never fails to bring a little spring in my step when I pass by.
