| I've always been a firm believer that if you can dream it, it can be made. But even I was a bit shocked (in a good way) when I saw these cereal bars inspired by — wait for it — ballet! Yes, somehow, a classic dance culminated into an on-the-go food. Just a reminder to keep on dreaming, because the possibilities are endless! |

| Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a prima ballerina. I took the classes, wore the tutus, learned the routines and shined in the spotlight doing assemblés across the stage. Much to my little girl wide-eyed horror, I saw one of the teenaged dancer's raw and mangled toes, and from that moment on, I swore off dancing forever! I still do dream of being Coppelia's Swanhilda, pirouetting into Franz' strong arms. But alas, the fabulous image will have to stay tucked into the private corners of my own mind. Sigh. |

2010 has been such a crazy fantastic year. Many highs, many lows, but probably the best part of it all has been the expansion of French Charmed The Boutique, and of course the beginning of this blog! We’ve shared many experiences together this year (remember waking up with the distant dreamt memories of spring blossoms in Paris? Frolicking through the puddles in satin ballet slippers?), and I can’t wait for all the fun 2011 will bring! Speaking of the New Year, I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect dress to don the night of the big New Beginning, and I couldn’t help but notice that golden sequin dresses are all the rage - so of course I had to post a few of my favorites! What will you be wearing to ring in the New Year, darlings? Send me photos of your holiday outfits – I’d love to see the creations you come up with! Spring is slowly turning into summer, but it’s not quite time to pull out the sandals. Instead, it’s the perfect time to box up the winter boots and start donning (what else, really?) ballet flats! They feel comfy and these studded flats would look sophisticated with just about anything. And we don’t know about you, but they also remind of us of frolicking down Paris streets in the search of stylin’ boutiques and flea markets. Just take bonadrag.com’s advice and watch out for puddles!
