As recent years have proven, braids aren’t just for little
girls anymore. In fact, I swear I see more of the pretty twists on adults than
I do on their mini counterparts! When done correctly and seemingly without
effort, the look is super romantic. And it’s a perfect way to keep cool during
these warm summer days.

Hi Chelle, I love braids too as they are so chic on everyone. My hair is long and layered and a bit of a challenge to braid with the short pieces, but I do manage the style somedays. It is a fun look. Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. So nice to see you and hope you are doing well. Have a great rest of the week. Hugs, Celestina Marie
I love braids too, though I haven't worn them in a while (years). Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I am sorry I made you sad that yard sale season is over, but I had call me yesterday from a lady that had been to my sale and lost al the things she bought from me which was over $100. Now that is sad! I felt so bad I am going to do a post and maybe someone out there has her teapots and things that she lost. She was with several other women and they all had lots of things that her bag just got left somehow. Okay, on to the flea markets and antique stores! Have a great day!
Beautiful braids and truly romantic. I love them! I used to braid my daughters hair with french braids when she was young..her hair was down to her waist. Shes 24 now and it is down to her waist again!
LOVE the braids you've shown here Chelle. I am a true die-hard french braid fan even before it was fashionable. Loved the blog this month and by the way chere'...ADORE the new photo on the newsletter..very summery. Now on to fall and winter..have a great week-end in GOD'S country for me. Note;..It's still yard sale time in the south tee hee.We have another month yet. They don't really quit entirely until about Halloween. One good thing about the south, see you next month darlin'.
Hello, my friend, Those braids are very romantic!! If I had long hair with a braid, I would definitely want starfish in mine!! Love your post!! Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit at Bunny Cottage. Have the best of weeks, Chelle! Vicki
Bonjour, and welcome to French Charmed, a place where everything Frenchy, girly and vintage is celebrated! I began in the antique business in 1991, and though I've found many stunning pieces from all over the world, I can't help but be extra charmed by anything encompassing the ambiance of France. Is it the elegance of the language, the romance of the cobblestone streets, the bold and seductive style of the people who live there? I can't put my finger on exactly what draws me in, but the country certainly has a je ne sais quoi about it that can't be ignored. Since experiencing the magic firsthand via my first trip there 15 years ago, I've thrown myself into creating a place where people just as entranced as me can buy, see and be inspired by the beautiful things that make France so magnifique. My business has evolved over the years (it actually started as a lingerie boutique!), but one thing stays true: I am forever passionate about my work, and I hope that through this blog and my website (www.FrenchCharmed.com), you will become just as passionate about it, too! Please leave comments if you can, and au revoir, beloved French Charmed reader!
