Aah, tis the season! We have been very busy selling Townhouses out here in the west. We are incredibly blessed to have gone mostly untouched by this slow economic time. And thank goodness, things seem to be turning around for the better in this great Country of ours! However, there are still a lot of folks down and out of work this winter. It is pretty cold out here where we live, and I was just thinking about going through the closets to find our extra coats. When my girls were young & still at home, they would get new coats each year. Because I was sooo strict (just ask them!) their previous years coat would still be in really good condition. We would take the coats and give them to folks that could really use them. I still do this every year and I hope my girls do too! So, if you happen to have an extra jacket or coat, I am sure someone out there would really appreciate receiving it. Tis the Season! ~ Merci! R.

A lovely reminder of what this season is all about. It is too easy to get caught up in this hectic world and forget the many people who are less fortunate. A wonderful lesson to teach our children. best wishes xx Kerry
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post, reminding to all of us that some people are not fortunate and need some help.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to report that long ago, I have been giving clothes or toys to the Church or now to Red Cross.
