| Nothing makes us girls swoon more than Valentine's Day. When I say "us girls," I mean myself and my daughters — We've already all had our manicures done in fun, romantic colors (Make-ah Me Blush, anyone?), dinner reservations have been set and now: On to baking these lovely little pink champagne cupcakes, which I plan to take in to my office friends! Oh my my, aren't they adorable?! And I especially think they'll make a splash placed upon this white, ruffly tablecloth from the French Charmed boutique! |

| They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but a few words can create quite a picture. I just made that up, so excuse me a second while I pat myself on the back and call my mom to brag... Okay, I've returned. And now I can express what I really meant to say in the first place: Items that convey lovely sentiments are at the top of the heap in my book. I couldn't help but keep one of these French Charmed pillow covers for myself, and I've fallen in love with this gorgeous Parisian bottle necklace. Both, I dare say, have left me nearly speechless. |

| The rush of the holidays is over, but without even the shortest moment to take a breather, I've found myself knee-deep in Valentine's Day. Or maybe a more proper way to put it would be I'm already head over heels for Valentine's Day? Either way, matters of the heart have taken center stage, and I for one, am a big believer that it's never too early to start planning something special for the ones you love. "If only," you may be thinking, "It were as easy as waving a crystal wand." Well alas, my dears, it just may be if you decide to bring this magical wonder into your lives! We definitely wish it upon you. |

| In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I almost (almost!) posted a rather risque piece about helping you all find the perfect lingerie. Believe you me, I found a ton of sexy things, including some cute little panties that had suggestive French sayings on them (so cute!). But at the last minute, I realized the post might have been just a bit too (gasp!) scandalous, so I'm giving you a different kind of V-Day treat: some information about the magic of French relationships! We all know the couples of France just have this air of casual allure, and guess what? It's becoming even more casual! According to the New York Times, these days, the French are opting for civil unions (called PACS, or pacte civil de solidarite, in France) in place of marriages, as becoming husband and wife entails such a heavy, religious contract. And with PACS offering couples all the basic legal necessities (shared insurance policies, shared taxes, shared debts, etc.), it's an attractive option many French couples have decided upon (for every three couples who choose marriage, two choose civil unions!). What's more, the civil unions are also available for everybody, whether gay, straight (or in between, haha). Just something to ponder on over the weekend, loves. | Just a quick little post today, as I had to share this sweet little makeup bag I found! Wish I would have seen it before the holidays, but I'm thinking it could also work as a perfect Valentine's Day gift for my girls. Oh my gosh, did I just mention Valentine's Day?!
